This website has been created with the aim of generating awareness about Tamudhee Association UK among all Gurungs and Gurung communities living in different parts of the world. It is hoped that as many Gurung communities/associations and individuals will visit this site thus enabling us to exchange our views and ideas on varying topics to bring our links ever closer together.

Since it's inception in the year 2000, Tamudhee has gone from strength to strength in doing charitable works and organising three big annual events: Lhochhar Celebration, Gurkha Cup Football Tournament and the Nepali Mela (Gurkha Fete). नेपाली मेला २०१० भव्यता साथ सम्पन्न

तमुधीं यूके द्वारा आयोजित नेपाली मेला २०१०, गत शनिबार २८ अगस्तका दिन सरे स्थित रिचमोन्ड एथलेटिक्स एसोसिएशनको मैदानमा भव्यतासाथ् सम्पन्न भयो।
बहुजाती, भाषा, धर्म, कला संस्कृति र परम्पराको धनी देश नेपालको सांस्कृतिक सम्पदाको संरक्षण गर्ने, बेलायतमा रहेका विभिन्न नेपाली तथा स्थानिय संघ संस्थाहरु बीच मैत्री र सदभाव अभिव्रिद्धी गर्ने तथा नेपाली समुदायलाई ब्रिटिश समाजमा समायोजित गर्न सहयोग गर्ने उद्देश्यले सञ्चालन गरिएको यो मेला दोश्रो हो।

गत वर्षको भन्दा पृथक र परिमार्जित रूपमा भएको सो मेलामा अन्तरसमाज झाँकी तथा लोकन्रित्य रनिङ कप प्रतियोगिता,ओपन युथ कन्सर्ट,जातिय पोषाक प्रदर्शन, टे-क्वान्डो खेल प्रदर्शन, क्विज कम्पिटिशन लागयतका विविध कार्यक्रम सहित, बिशेष आकर्षणका रूपमा गिनिज वर्ल्ड रेकार्डसमा आफ्नो नाम दर्ता गराइसकेका विश्वका सबै भन्दा होचा किशोर खगेन्द्र थापा मगरको उपस्थिती रहेको थियो।

तमुधीं यूकेका महासचिव श्री सूर्जे गुरुङ्को स्वागत मन्तबव्य पछि संस्थाका अध्यक्ष सुबसिङ गुरुङ (बि.ई.एम.) ले कलात्मक पानसमा दीप प्रज्वलन गरी समुदघाटन गरेको सो कार्यक्रममा प्रमुख अतिथी बेलायतका लागि नेपाली राजदूत डा. सुरेश चन्द्र चालिसे, लण्डनका डेपुटी मेयर काउन्सिलर रिचर्ड बार्नस, रिचमोन्डका मेयर काउन्सिलर डेविड मार्लो तथा अन्य संघ संस्थाका प्रमुखहरु, अतिथि रहेका थिए।

Friendly football match, Nepal United* Vs Aldershot Town XI

The first ever friendly football match between Nepal United* and Aldershot Town XI, organised by Tamu Dhee Association UK in association with Aldershot Town FC was held on Sunday, 15th   August at EBB stadium in Aldershot.
After the settlement of Gurkhas or Nepalese in the UK, It was the first significant event organized by the community to develop friendship between Nepalese Team and professional English Team.  Players of both teams played very well. Destined to win, players of Nepal United* scored 1 against Aldershot Town XI. The goal scored by Yugal Rai (Jersey no. 10) of Nepal United on 39th minutes of first half, boosted the confidence of Nepal United players.
The game kicked off at 3 O’clock in the afternoon. Team captains of both teams had exchanged their souvenir prior to the match. On behalf of TDUK association, Nepal United* presented a plaque Card to Aldershot Town XI and Aldershot Town FC presented a football signed by their players as a mark of friendship.
